winning international acclaim for her jewellery, ute decker creates work that is as much sculpture as body adornment. conceptual jewellery designer/artist katrin spranger and kelvin birk, creator of contemporary jewellery and objects in precious metals and gemstones, together set up the k2 academy of contemporary jewellery, which offers a comprehensive programme of jewellery courses. ellen monaghan designs and makes jewellery inspired by architecture, interiors and textile pattern. working with traditional silversmithing techniques, meron wolde creates unique pieces with an element of chance in each.
